Nathan Douglas Wente

I got a ticket in so Oregon on my way to cali and after searching for an attorney I hired nathan right from the get go he was all over this ticket, he was honest and very detailed with the way he was going to handle this case, he kept me up todate on everything that was going on..he is not a push ov...er & loves a challenge. .he got my ticket dismissed..I would hire & recommend Nathan to anybody. ..thx Nathan for keeping my driving record clean...

Attorney Nathan Wente, what could I say about this guy that wasn’t good? Attorney Wente is the greatest Attorney I have seen. I was facing two Felony charges of Criminal impersonation of a peace officer. These charges were false of course but still required a very skilled attorney to explain the law ...to the Jury. To us the law was very clear, but the battle that Wente had was to combat the DA’s perspective of the law, which she tried to per sway the jury to think was true. It was complete nonsense. Judge Bloom was also a challenge. My advice to anyone who reads this, do not wave your right to a jury trial. No matter how good you think your case is, don’t do it. I can’t speak about all judges but Judge Bloom doesn’t know anything about Criminal law, yet they made him a criminal judge. Go figure. There were a lot of great moments during the 3 day trial where Attorney Wente really shined, but the turning point from my perspective was his closing argument, it was the best. We all felt that it shut the door on the case when he was done. And sure enough we go a not guilty. Nate Wente is more than just an attorney, he is a friend. You know he is a part of your case as if he was the one on trial. Most attorneys I have seen just want your money and to plea out. Nate is going to be honest the whole way letting you know of all the possibilities and outcomes. I truly believe that this is Nate Wente’s calling from God. He was born to protect innocent people from our Government. My family and I are truly blessed to have him in our life.

In July 2012 I was falsely arrested by Medford PD while standing next to a radar enforcement van and protesting it with a sign. I was charged with violating Medford Municipal Code 5.120, Disorderly Conduct; a Class B misdemeanor that carries with it a potential $1000 fine and would cost me my Conceal...ed Handgun License if convicted. The police report claimed that the van operator had observed me stopping in the middle of the road and obstructing traffic while I was crossing the street, which was patently false. Thankfully, I had a camera set up on the sidewalk which captured the entire event and proved my innocence. Unfortunately, the camera was seized by MPD, along with some of my other property including a legally owned and carried handgun, and the municipal court pushed ahead with prosecution without ever reviewing the exculpatory video that was now in their possession. Unwilling to settle for anything short of a full dismissal of my charges and the return of my property, It was at this point that I hired Nathan Wente as my defense attorney. I hired Nate based largely on the glowing recommendations of top personnel at The U.S. Observer, a publication dedicated to helping exonerate those falsely accused of crimes, and I could not be happier with my decision to do so. From the very beginning, Nate exhibited extreme professionalism and unwavering dedication to my case. Through several pretrial hearings he kept me constantly updated on what was going on, patiently explained proceedings to me, and fully informed me of every decision that I had to make. Nate poured everything that he had into my case to insure that I would be cleared of my charges and justice would be served. Before too long, he was able to secure the video that would eventually exonerate me as well as other audio and video evidence that had been collected by the police and would bolster my case Despite every attempt by the municipal court and the city attorney to stall my case and continue with my prosecution, Nate’s excellent work eventually resulted in the dismissal of my case and the return of my property. I cannot thank him enough for my work. As a liberty activist, it is entirely possible that I will face more false or wrongful charges in the future, and if I do, you better believe that Nate will be the first person that I call. If you believe in freedom, liberty, and the rights of the individual, you will find a kindred spirit in Nate. He is a man of integrity and honesty with a genuine drive to seek justice. In the unfortunate but increasingly common event that you find yourself in need of a defense attorney to protect yourself from false, wrongful, or simply immoral charges, there is no one in Southern Oregon better prepared to defend you than attorney Nathan Wente.

Nate was in my corner, even though I made his job extremely difficult, by being indecisive at times. he was continually keeping me posted on every detail involving my case, even returned calls while he was in vacation w his family. During the ordeal of my case, he represented me, and my interests t...o the fullest, never allowing the "standard package", he went above and beyond any and all expectations I had. Questioning the very court system that I feel has run rampant, and unaccountably negligent for far to many cases. If it wasn't for nate, I would have resigned to the pressure of the D.A.s office and had my record permanently scarred w charges that weren't mine. I can walk around and look them all in the eyes knowing that justice was done on my behalf by Nate Wente. Thank you again.

Talk about being scared not knowing where to go who to talk to! Then my brother got me into contact with Mr. Wente. I’m not to keen on how attorney's operate or what’s standard, but the first time I talked to Wente I was put at ease! Not one issue, nor one delay. Wente was all over my case. Kept me i...nformed on every detail. Wente also was a great coach, took the time to explain and let me decide what to do which way to go. I almost feel like an attorney my self.
