Divorce is awful, ugly and brings out the worst in even the best people. Our divorce took over a year, without the guidance and professionalism that Heidi provided I wouldn't have mentally been able to sustain the arduous process. From her first meeting until we finalized the paperwork she was by my side. She was always prepared! From our first meeting she began preparing me and walking me through the process, she anticipated things happening that I never would have expected. Being prepared helped alleviate my anxiety and made me feel empowered. Within the first few meetings I knew the options for divorce proceedings and felt confident in Heidi's ability to navigate me through the process. Heidi prides herself on being professional and prepared. When representing me in court or in mediation she had everything prepared and made sure she knew my case thoroughly. I never felt like I made a decision or went into anything without everything explained in detail. My ex-husband hired several attorneys to represent him, with each new attorney Heidi poised herself in the most professional manner. With each new attorney Heidi knew the opposing counsel, was familiar with his strategy in the court room and was prepared to adjust and interact with the attorney accordingly. Most important was the way in which our Judge interacted with Heidi. It was reassuring to see that he valued her level of professionalism and that his previous experiences with her in his court were positive. In our case we not only had the complicated element of business and property issues, but we also have small children. Heidi understood my role as a mother and listened to my needs and concerns. When I couldn't be rational or logical she helped ground me so I could come up with the most ideal schedule for the kids. Heidi was available when needed. She answered my calls and emails in a timely manner. I also appreciated that she was respectful of my work and mom schedule. She scheduled time to speak with me and we worked together to find times that worked with both of our busy schedules. I know Heidi has many clients, but she always made me feel like a priority and never like a bother. I can't express my gratitude and appreciation to Heidi. I never thought I would get a divorce, but I am thankful that I had Heidi to support me and help me get through it with dignity and grace.

Ms Lukacsik was my lawyer in a child custody case concerning my nephews against their father. It was very unusual so there was no clear path to success. Ms Lukacsik was very honest and up-front with me in explaining that I was the underdog in this case but once I decided to proceed she attacked it wi...th gusto. I first found Heidi when i was faced with a decision to try and relocate out of the state of Arizona due to military orders and getting married. It was the end of 2009 and I had a rough relationship with my sons father. Seems we were back and forth, I lacked the confidence as a mother to stand up for... myself and my role as a mother. I was a young mom and just kind of lost. I knew in 2009 I needed to do what was right for my son. Relocating was part of what I wanted and knew it would be difficult, at first his father agreed and then a few weeks prior to moving he decided to get a lawyer and fight. I met with Heidi and basically was able to poor my heart out to her, it was a huge relief just expressing my fears and concerns for my son and what I feared could happen if I was unable to relocate. Heidi listened with an attentive ear and not once made me feel rushed or pathetic. I was able to finally relocate and life seemed to be doing well. Fast forward to 2013 and I started to get an uneasy feeling about my ex and if he was living a sober life. He seemed to come and go and just not sound altogether. I was deployed to Afghanistan at the time and sought out Heidi, because she is real, raw and all about business I KNEW i HAD to have her back in my corner. She was able to help me when I felt weakest and most vulnerable. Heidi in a sense gave me the back bone I didn't have in 2009/10. So I found her at her Bishop and contacted her via phone call to discuss a modification to parenting time as well as trying to force drug testing. If my ex didn't give us a run for our money! He absolutely failed to cooperate and made Heidi work more than she really should have. Heidi never made me feel like my case was a burden. She was upfront, and didn't sugar coat anything. She let me know the good, the bad and the ugly truth. Heidi was also very mindful the cost of lawyer fees and always wanted to make sure that the way ahead was something i wanted to do and she always discussed the cost involved and didn’t just do "whatever she wanted". I feel like I am a part of her team, she is extremely thorough and takes the time to make sure she explains everything in detail so that you understand. You can always expect Heidi to have a game plan and be five steps ahead, she is always thinking ahead of what can happen, and what our options are. I highly recommend Heidi to anyone needing or wanting a no BS approach to their case. If you want to know everything that is going on, you're not afraid of honesty and aggressiveness then she is by far the one to have on your side. I can't say enough good things about the lawyer she is but not just that the person she is as well. She truly does care about the people she defends.
