Divorce is awful, ugly and brings out the worst in even the best people. Our divorce took over a year, without the guidance and professionalism that Heidi provided I wouldn't have mentally been able to sustain the arduous process. My ex-husband hired several attorneys to represent him, with each new attorney Heidi poised herself in the most professional manner. Most important was the way in which our Judge interacted with Heidi. In our case we not only had the complicated element of business and property issues, but we also have small children. Heidi understood my role as a mother and listened to my needs and concerns. When I couldn't be rational or logical she helped ground me so I could come up with the most ideal schedule for the kids. Heidi was available when needed. She answered my calls and emails in a timely manner. I also appreciated that she was respectful of my work and mom schedule. She scheduled time to speak with me and we worked together to find times that worked with both of our busy schedules. I know Heidi has many clients, but she always made me feel like a priority and never like a bother. I can't express my gratitude and appreciation to Heidi. I never thought I would get a divorce, but I am thankful that I had Heidi to support me and help me get through it with dignity and grace.
