Matt was recommended by a friend after 2 other attorneys could not understand or appreciate the contentious, complicated nature of my Family Court case. For two years I battled my ex over her alcoholism, drug use and mental health issues - and the danger she repeatedly put our children in as a result.... I got nowhere. Then I hired Matt. He quickly understood this complicated case and put us on a new course, diligently getting past medical records, getting court ordered drug testing, and pursuing all avenues to both ensure the safety of my children and to develop the history needed to get me sole legal decision making over my children and supervised visits for my ex. He did this in less than one year after I hired him. My case is ongoing; my challenges seem daily - and Matt continues to be diligent in ensuring my children are protected. He has never wavered in his legal support and responsiveness. I highly recommend Matt.

Matt was amazing! We appreciated how quick he was to get us in for a consult. He's extremely educated on family law and was able to read and understand our parent agreement which was previously issued. He kept us informed throughout the whole process and made sure he was available 24 hours for any q...uestions or concerns we had. He follweded up promotly which was very reassuring. He was even able to get our court fees paid! I've already referred him to three coworkers and they loved how he consulted with them over the phone and provided advice that was helpful.

There is a reason why this attorney is suspended. I used him in 2013 to modify my current custody agreement. He was incredibly rude and annoyed by me. He acted like he didn't care what happened to my case. He lied to me about the court proceedings and what I was actually getting. I reported him to th...e BAR before he was suspended. He did not represent me like he was on my side. He spoke to opposing counsel as if he was annoyed with me. I called his office to have him withdraw from my case so another lawyer could take over and he hung up on me. I will never recommend him to anyone. If you want to lose your care, retain him.

I have a special needs child and was very concerned about the divorce process and making sure I got primary custody of my child. Mr. Schultz came highly recommended for handling complex cases so I called him. He, rather than a secretary actually answered the phone and spoke with me right away about m...y case. He represented me through what turned out to be a nasty custody battle with my husband. Throughout the case, he was available and made me feel at ease. There was no doubt who was prepared. My husband and his attorney were shut down. Ultimately I got what I wanted including $1,600 per month child support award that continued PAST my child's 18th birthday. I would recommend Matt Schultz to anyone that needs an assertive divorce attorney that is very confident and knowledgeable in the area of family law.

No thanks to Matt I did win my case. It would be hard to lose delivering a slam dunk to his desk against a deadbeat neglectful parent. I could have done better myself and saved the money. This guy is currently suspended and probably for good reason. This is one of many suspensions Mr Schultz was luck...y enough to obtain on a consistent basis. If you hire him i ask that you make him pay you, you paying him is a waste of time and money. Try him for personal injury maybe but when it comes to family law this is by far not your guy. His reviews prior to this are posted by friends i would take them with a grain of salt. Dont stoop to stupidity, Money can buy much better. Stay away from this guy.
