Emma Jo Chalverus

Emma Jo Chalverus helps businesses maximize their resources, mitigate their risks, and ultimately comply with applicable laws so that their employees are thriving and satisfied. She is an associate attorney at Davis Miles McGuire Gardner, PLLC in Tempe, Arizona. Emma works in the litigation department and has experience defending employment discrimination and retaliation claims, unpaid overtime wage claims, business torts, and various real estate disputes.

Emma graduated from Lake Forest College in 2011 with a double major in Political Science and French (magna cum laude). She returned to her native New Mexico after six years in Chicago to attend the University of New Mexico School of Law (cum laude). During law school, Emma was a Manuscript Editor of the New Mexico Law Review, where she grew a passion for legal writing. Emma spent her final year of law school in Washington, D.C. clerking with the EEOC’s Appellate Section. Emma is involved in the Arizona State Bar’s Employment and Labor Section, the Arizona Women’s Law Association, as well as the Defense Research Institute.
