I hired Natalie after going through a few lawyers who talked a good game, but fell apart in the court room or couldn't be found when an emergency came up. Natalie never actually took anything of mine to trial, so I can't speak to her capabilities as a litigator. She helped settle outside court ...on some issues including child support, which went my way, but with the evidence I had, it is hard to imagine it could have gone any other way. My concerns about Natalie came later when I brought continuing and repeated violations of orders by the other party to Natalie, including unauthorized delays on reimbursement. I feel that all I received from Natalie was a song and dance about how yes, my ex was violating multiple orders multiple times. Natalie claimed she believed it wasn't worth the risk to take in front of my judge. When I pressed her to file anyway, Natalie claimed there was some kind of ethical issue. I cancelled her representation. I then took reimbursement issues to court myself pro per. Our case was put in front of a commissioner, who quickly hammered the other party. The resulting minute entry was rather calm, but the court recording shows the commissioner's words to my ex were anything but...a complete win on my petition, including costs and a full payment of all funds outstanding, which I hadn't even asked for. The commissioner also clearly warned my ex that similar bad conduct would be viewed very dimly by the Court, and she could expect to be sanctioned. Looking back I am very disappointed that Natalie gave such bad advice...and I am very glad I ignored it. I could have been stuck continuing to put up with the constant harassment. Instead, by trusting my gut after years in court, I received everything I asked and more. My ex has been given another stern, clear warning on the record...ready for next time she decides to play games at my and our kids' expense. I'm also disappointed that Natalie never made the suggestion of taking issues in front of a commissioner rather than my judge. Natalie's view seems in hindsight to have been very black and white, yes or no, rather than a crafted strategy. Natalie advertised herself to me as being tough and ready to advocate for me, but in the end I feel she just doesn't have what it takes to deal with a case as contentious as mine and a female opposing party as willing to violate orders as mine.

I am very satisfied with the service and expertise that Natalie provided during my experience engaging her to represent my Child Support Modification case with the State of Arizona Title IV-D Program. My case was an entanglement with the State of Arizona Title IV-D Program, emancipation of my olde...st daughter, remaining Child Support obligation to my youngest only son, and the intractable Children’s mother’s position regarding Private School. Throughout the many years of dealing with my Children’s mother on such issues as Child Support and Child Visitation I have had marginal experiences with several attorneys. My case was ultimately settled without resolving to a Commissioners whimsical decision. In final closing, Natalie returned phone calls and emails in a timely manner, treated me with respect, was considerate of my finances, and provided valuable strategies that ultimately resulted in a satisfying compromise of a Child Support obligation that I am able live within.
