She didn't have my back
I hired Diana to represent me in my divorce. It was a complicated divorce with custody and parenting time issues as well as many marital assets to split. As I look back at my settlement and I learn more about what is normal or what other people negotiated in their divorces I realize how much better...
Hey Mary, I am sorry that your experience was so negative. Your decree was entered in 2010 so, I hope you have been able to move forward and enjoy your children. Taking a case to trial is always frustrating. L just refused to settle on the custody issues. It is always difficult to hand over control to the court. When it comes to the division of a business interest and there are competing experts, the court more often than not chooses a number in between the valuations presented. It is hard for many people to accept that the Court in Arizona does not have jurisdiction to order any parent to pay for college expenses. When parties settle their cases, they have the option of including provisions for college expenses to be covered by either or both parties. However, settlements often leave parties feeling upset as they have to "meet in the middle" and each party must live with their concessions. When there is no middle ground found, the case is forced to trial. One of the many frustrating aspects of taking a case to trial is the enormous amount of preparation. If you felt frustrated by being asked for input or documents that is unfortunate, but necessary. Family law cases are highly emotional and in cases, for example, when there are issues of addiction and abuse, those cases are even more wearing on the parties. Sometimes, assets that are upside down in value, like your houses when the market was at a low, are sold and there are even foreclosures involved. Depending on the downturn or upswing of the economy, judges tend to follow that curve when using discretion on valuating assets to be divided. You maintained your recovery during the case and that is huge. I hope that you can move forward and are no longer involved in the legal system as it always proves to be a disheartening experience. You were an inspiration as a client in the way that you handled yourself during such a difficult time.

What was supposed to be an ordinary case?
Diana came to us by recommendation of a past client, which in my opinion is the best kind of reference. When we first came to her office, the environment was warm and inviting. It presented a strong presence of knowledge and understanding. We sat in Diana’s conference room and the case discussion beg...

Diana is an Outstanding Attorney, Gifted Advocate, and Extraordinary Person
When it became time to separate from my abusive husband of more than two decades, Diana was recommended to me through my therapist who was treating me for post-traumatic stress disorder related to the abuse. I could not have asked for a more exceptional legal advocate and extraordinary individual to...

The Strong Powerful Woman
I have been a client of Diana since October of 2011. She is handling my case about parenting time which became complicated because the other party tried to take my children away from me and has slandered my name. Diana has stood beside me, actually in front of me through this entire ordeal. She is...
