I hired Diana to represent me in my divorce. It was a complicated divorce with custody and parenting time issues as well as many marital assets to split. As I look back at my settlement and I learn more about what is normal or what other people negotiated in their divorces I realize how much better... my representation could have been. There were things that I did not even think about that should have been dealt with in the divorce, such as college for the children. Diana got very frustrated whenever I asked her questions and she did not explain the process to me. During court she suggested things that she had never discussed with me. She did not inform me of things I had to do or be prepared for and then would scream at me when I told her I didn't know that I was supposed to do those things. I can't fight that now and ended up penniless after a very long marriage and my ex bought a house for cash. Quite often people forget that what is legal may not be ethical and what is ethical may not be legal. Diana demonstrated incredible skill at maintaining the highest level of ethics while staying within the bounds of the law.
