Biography
Frederick C. Thomas ("Fred"), combines decades of Arizona roots with practical insurance and courtroom experience. After graduating from Deer Valley High School and earning a political science degree at Arizona State University—where he interned for Senator Jon Kyl—he spent three years as an insurance adjuster before earning his law degree from University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. Licensed in Arizona, California and Colorado and admitted to multiple federal courts and the Ninth Circuit, Fred has practiced law since December 2003, concentrating on personal injury and habeas corpus work. He also advises and defends licensed contractors on Registrar matters, enforces mechanic’s liens and assists with contract collections. His background as an adjuster helps him anticipate insurer tactics. Fred serves with the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, previously led the North Phoenix Bar Association, sat on the State Bar Ethics Committee, taught insurance- and commercial-law courses as an adjunct, and supports community programs including AZTV’s Hometown Heroes and Stuff the Bus.
