Colby graduated Summa Cum Laude from ASU with a bachelor's degree in history in 2001; soon after, earning a Juris Doctor at the ASU Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law.

DUI

I had an extreme DUI, and I should have served a minimum of 30 days in jail. Colby did a great job at defending me. He was able to get me out of so many things that should’ve happened to me. The most important part to me was that he was available anytime I had questions, and I had a lot of them! He responded to my emails almost immediately. He’s a very personable attorney. I would recommend him to anybody.

I have been struggling with getting my licenses back due to issues with communication between the dmv and myself. Colby was able to get it figured out and solved in a timely manner and was always very nice and professional when talking with me. On top of being nice he also kept me updated throughout the process. Would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of legal help.

Injunction against Harassment

My teenage daughter had a situation with an ex boyfriend that led to the need for an injunction against harassment. This was contested and we had less then a week to figure out what to do. I was referred to Colby Kanouse and from the first call to the office after speaking with Sarah I knew we found the right law office. We were scheduled quickly for a consult as we had limited time to prepare for the hearing. After me and my teenage daughter met with Colby we felt at ease and knew we hired the right lawyer to help us. Colby explained the court process and the laws in reference to our case so that we could actually understand what was going to happen. We got the outcome we had hoped for as Colby is a very knowledgeable and competent lawyer. We even got a call a couple days later to make sure my daughter was alright. The fees were very fair and reasonable if you need a lawyer I would 110% recommend Colby.
