Susan received her doctorate in Special Education from the University of Oregon. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D). She has a number of publications and has presented at national and regional conferences on inclusive education, autism, and various disability topics.
Susan's legal practice focuses on disability- and special education-related issues that are covered under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). She assists family members and individuals with disabilities to access services in schools and universities, employment settings, and community settings. She handles appeals to challenge the denial of ALTCS and DDD services.
