Two years ago I was searching the internet looking for help or possible solutions to my daughter's $145,000 of student loan debt. We feel like now we really do have a chance to retire when it is our time. By the way, we had over 200k in equity in our home when she began college in 2006. We intended to pay the loans with our equity in our home. Well we all know what happened to that equity!
