Chris moved to Arizona at a young age and has called Arizona home ever since. After graduating from Deer Valley High School in Glendale, Chris attended the University of Arizona where he majored in Political Science. Before attending law school, Chris worked as a manager in a drug store where he was responsible for personnel decisions.
Due to his desire to be close to his family, Chris enrolled in the Arizona State University College of Law. In law school, Chris was recognized for his scholastic achievement with an invitation to serve on the Arizona State University Law Journal and Honors grade in the first-year writing course. While on the Law Journal, Chris served as a Note, Comment, and Legislative Review Editor and his article H.B. 2274 – Encouraging Employment References was selected for publication in Issue 30. Upon graduation, Chris was awarded pro bono recognition for his charitable legal work, primarily with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (V.I.T.A.) program.
Chris continues to serve the community supporting several educational, animal rescue, and children’s charities. Chris serves on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Council on Economic Education, a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving economic and financial literacy in Arizona. Chris is also a Wish Granter for Make-A-Wish of Arizona and serves as a Volunteer Docent and Mentor for the Arizona Animal Welfare League. He also volunteers his legal knowledge to the Military Legal Assistance clinics and has served as a judge for the Arizona High School Mock Trial State Tournament. Chris is also an avid supporter of the fine arts. In his free time, Chris enjoys hiking with his dog, Luna, and entertaining his two cats, Callie and Nala. He also enjoys attending concerts and playing friendly games of golf and poker with his friends. Chris regularly attends Phoenix Coyotes games and hopes to one day see them lift the Stanley Cup.
