I hired Adam in my custody and divorce case. Adam brings a lot to the table. First, he is going to be honest about your situation and he knows the lay of the land - the Judges, the opposing counsel and how that is most likely to play out in and out of court. My ex switched counsel and he gave me th...e bad news that a ton of paperwork was coming my way. There's nothing he can do about who your ex hires - but he at least knows how its going to play out. Second - He is not someone who is going to price gouge you. Mediation / settlement is almost always going to be your most price efficient way of ending a divorce. Continued litigation usually just benefits the attorneys and you really never know what is going to happen with a Judge - even if you win, you lost by paying lawyer fees throughout. Adam recognizes that - and to the point above, he knows if the opposing counsel is just using the case to buy another beach house. Third - If you do end up in court - Adam is mechanical.
