also known as Steve German
Mr. German started his career as a lawyer in 1993 employed by a large downtown law firm in Phoenix, Arizona, where he gained excellent litigation training and insight into how large corporations operate and defend against litigation and claims of wrongdoing. He was a member of the firm’s trial practice group, and began his career as a trial attorney learning from the finest, most accomplished trial lawyers. In 1999, Mr. German left the large firm to start his own practice, focused exclusively on helping individuals and family's harmed by defective products, car wrecks, insurance bad-faith, toxic torts, medical malpractice, and the wrongful denial of legitimate disability claims.
Mr. German’s practice began thriving from the start. This was in part due to Mr. German's unique ability to creatively resolve complex matters and to the cases that do not settle to trial. Over the past thirty years, Mr. German has earned an excellent reputation as a compassionate caring trial lawyer who forms close bonds with his clients, provides them with care and understanding knowing the hardships they faced, and uses their pain and suffering as motivation to tenaciously fight for justice without comrpomise until they are made whole.
Mr. German’s trial experience is extensive compared to his peers. Steve has handled two dozen jury and bench trials in State and Federal Courts. His portfolio of trial experience includes several jury trials against Ford and Firestone. A roadway design case against Maricopa County, and another defective roadway he brought against the City of Tucson and prevailed. He is represented clients with injuries cause by substandard care from surgeons, podiatrists, and radiologists, among other professionals. He is perhaps most passionate when he assists innocent claimants facing terrible misfortunate bring suit against disability insurance companies that purposefully deny or terminate legitimate disability claims.
In 2017, Mr. German prosecuted a three-week federal jury trial in the US District Court of Arizona against a large insurance company that wrongfully terminated a legitimate disability claim. The $6.5 Million verdict was the third largest in all of Arizona for the year 2017. He succeeeded in proving a heightened burden of proof and prevailed by getting a verdict for $5 Million in punitive damages. The verdict was upheld in 2020 by the 9th Circuit Court. Mr. German's cases have shaped the law in Arizona in many ways, from the way rules and statutes governing civil lawsuits is interpresented and applied, and has handled cases that helped to shape the law governing wrongful denital of legitiamte insurance claims and bad faith conduct that was intended to cause an insured harm.
In 2003, Danny Adelman became Steve's partner and together they formed Adelman German, A Law Firm, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Their firm grew rapidly to include four attorneys and eight support staff. It was soon recognized as one of the very best law firms in Arizona with an excellent reputation across the country. Steve litigated and/or tried numerous medical malpractice lawsuits with Mr. Adelman. In 2018, Danny accepted the position of Executive Director for the largest non-profit law firm in the state of Arizona.
In 2022, Mr. German was chosen by the Arizona Supreme Court to serve on the Committee that licenses a brand new type of law firm, known as an ABS (Alternative Business Structure) Law Firm. Arizona is the only State in the entire country that has all togehter abolished the Rule prohibiting non-lawyer ownership of law firms. Mr. German became a pioneer and embraced the opportunity by opening and managing one of Arizona's first ABS Law Firms. His vision was to fulfil the objectives of the ABS Model, and use new-found fudning to improve access to to justice and to innovate the how law is practiced, which has been unchanged for decades. Mr. German recently left the ABS Law Firm he started in order to return to Steve German, A Law Firm, where he continues to lead the way as one of Arizona's premier mass-tort, personal injury, product liability and insurance bad-faith attorneys.

Steve German
From the beginning, when he said I was in error on my assumption about my case, to the successful conclusion of our case, Steve was always telling me the way it was. In the beginning this is not what I wanted to hear, but he calmed me, explained it, and ultimately made it all work out well.
"I highly recommend Steve German. He is knowledgeable, fair, professional, tenacious and effective."
"I endorse this lawyer. I worked with Steve on a case a few years ago and his work was impeccable. More importantly, he seemed to care about everyone involved--my client and his. I highly recommend him."
