I wish I had read these reviews before I hired Allyson

My experience with Allyson s very similar to the other reviews here. When she found out who the judge in my case was going to be she said she was a wild card and spoke very negatively of her. Allyson then spent all of her time telling me to settle, but never spent any time looking at the financials... of my divorce to come up with a reasonable offer. I finally came to my senses and hired a new attorney and it is refreshing to work with an attorney that cares about my case.

Respectful, reliable, and knowledgeable

I recently worked with Allyson Del Vecchio, I couldn’t have asked for a better lawyer. She is responsive, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable. I hope I never have to get divorced again but if I do she’ll be my counsel. We definitely had some hurdles in dealing with an unresponsive, unrealistic, a...nd quite frankly terrible opposing counsel but she helped me remain focused on the end result. I would highly recommend Allyson.

Waist of Money

I hired Allyson to make sure that I did not lose custody of my son. She talked a big game in the beginning and it looked promising. I paid way too much money and things were supposed to happen before the trial. Instead several things that she said she would do, never happened. I ended up giving my ex... husband ninety percent custody and paying child support. Neither was necessary. In four months time some of this should have been resolved. I paid a lot of money for her, only for my ex husband to make me look bad when I did nothing wrong. Plus I had been with my son since he was born, never asked for child support, and supported him on my own.

So horrible and cost so much money

Allyson is very aggressive and has zero people skills. She talks big game during intake but fails to deliver. I needed a very simple representation, just basics attorney help with child custody. I am not a lawyer and was looking for help, but found the worst outcome possible - all because of Allyson...'s aggressive behavior towards other parent. My ex is actually very reasonable and we were on good terms BEFORE Allyson intervened. She talked me into filing aggressive statements in court, ensuring me that it will get me desired results and then some. Well, the family lawyer does not always have to be aggressive to get a result, but s/he should be smart and know when just help and not choose my battles for me. My ex got so pissed with the way Allyson handled the situation, I end up paying DOUBLE in child support, from what my ex originally asked. And my relations with the child are strained and irreversibly damaged. If the custodial parent is angry at you (because of your lawyer), they have zero reasons to cooperate. Allyson missed deadlines more than once. She also provided false statements to the opposite counselor, placing words in my mouth. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Allyson is a strange, unkind person, that gloats at other people's drama.

Worst decision to hire this lawyer

I wish I had gone with my initial gut instinct after the first consultation and not hired Allyson Del Vechio. When she found out who the apposing lawyer was she acted intimated and trashed talked her. I spent well over ten grand for her to prepare for a trial that she couldn’t even get me because she... would rather scare me into settling then go to trial knowing she would lose. I spent all this money for absolutely nothing in return. And you know what I was asking for.. nothing! No change in schedule, I cared less about child support. Over ten grand for her to bend me over and let them whip me and then ask for more money more money. Honestly a joke. I never felt prepared, she gave me no guidance until minutes before we were standing in front of a judge. Oh I can’t forget that in the courtroom she sees I’m obviously upset at what has transpired and she asks are you ok? I shrug and she responds “liar” - so immature. Do yourself, your family and your wallet a favor and go somewhere else!
