I have hired the Cantor Law firm 2 twice due to a set of crazy neighbors that are trying their best to get me arrested and ultimately to move. I was arrested for violation of a harassment injunction and hired Cantor to defend me in that case and the following year I hired them to help me fight a harassment injucntion filed by another neighbor. In both cases i received a directed verdict. Go search for directed verdict and see how rare they are to obtain. Elizabeth Mullins was the Attorney whom represented me in both of these cases and let me tell you she is the best of the best. Her pre trial perperation is unblievable. She puts together a defense in a very methodical way and then gathers the necessary evidence to support it. Her courtroom presence is something you have to witness to believe. She is self assured, commanding but not arrogant, and has a very quick mind that allows her to react to the unavoidable surpises that do arise. Her knowedge of the law is deep and broad and she uses it to control the flow of the court room proceedings. You ever watch an athelete at the top of their game it is like watching artwork in motion. One year later we are back in court but this time with Elizabeth Mullins and now he has compiled even more false allegations which is going to make it even harder to defend against his claims but Elizabeth Mullins was able to wade thru the bullshit so that the jugde could see that there wasnt harrassmment just a neighbor that doesnt like a another neighbor. Same situation and issues but with differnt attorneys and vastly different results. This time I win. If your thinking whats the big deal about an iah then you have never had one filed agaisnt you by a vindictive person that will use it in attempt to have you arrested for pretty much anything. They make your life hell. So needless to say I wanted this IAH removed and i needed the a good attorney to help me get it done. I will say it again if you want the best representation that you can find hire Cantor and talk to Elizabeth Mullins. You will not be disappointed. I hope i never need another criminal attorney but if do i am going right back to Cantor and asking for Elizabeth Mullins.

When I was arrested for domestic violence and disturbing the peace I knew my only hope was to hire an attorney. I was nervous when I first approached the law firm of David Cantor because let's face it....we have all heard the stories of lawyers being void of scruples. I met with Elizabeth Mullins and explained my story. Elizabeth was extremely polite and courteous while she listened to how the events of that night unfolded. Throughout my case there was never any surprises because during our initial meeting Elizabeth was able to break down every detail, what the prosecutor would offer as a plea agreement and what the end result would be. I also need to mention that Elizabeth did not receive full cooperation from the arresting officers or the prosecution. For starters, officers would fail to appear at their deposition and the prosecution ignored requests for witnesses contact information. I thought for sure the extra expenses for filing motions, time spent trying to get depositions and other obstacles encountered would be brought up at some point. You know, those well hidden costs buried in your contract that seemingly rise up out of no where. However, it was never even mentioned because it was all part of doing business! That is when I realized this law firm is committed and focused on the pursuit of justice. Just as Elizabeth predicted in our first meeting, the charges filed against me were eventually dismissed. A number of months ago, I walked into their offices and told them that I had been accused of a crime I did not commit and the attorney I previously hired told me to "get use to the idea of incarceration". Last December, backing out of a parking spot, at night, I bumped, what I thought was a curb. Apparently I had hit another car and someone wrote down my plate #. The next day, police came to my house and charged me with hit and run as well as failure to notify. I contacted Cantor Law through a google search. Instead of 2 criminal charges, that could have put me in jail, and/or loss of license for one year, I was charged with a civil speeding penalty, paid a fine, and have 3 points on my license. I was pulled towards the end of the year for making a right turn into the 2nd availalbe lane (something every American does during daylight hours) instead of the 1st lane. My friend was in car at the time and called the law office of David Cantor immediately. Someone was available at 11:30 pm to give me free advice over the phone. A few days later, I was contacted by one of their lawyers; he immediately put my mind at ease about my options; a possible DUI is extremely stressful . I made an appointment to meet with the firm to go over the incident and decide if I wanted to retain their services. Again, the lawyer I spoke with eased my worries with his explanation of the law firm's experience and expertise handling DUI's. So I decided to hire them. As I mentioned before, I was pulled over for making a right turn everyone makes during the day (over the past two weeks I've even seen cop cars make a right turn directly into the second lane of traffic). I bring this up because I believe that I shouldn't have been stopped in the first place. I was pulled over based on an arbitrary law that is hardly enforced, and actually broken by the institution tasked with enforcing this law on a daily basis. But, I found out in a court of law it doesn't matter what you believe. In my case, the law was about procedure. And this is where the Law offices of David Cantor excel. I was assigned to Elizabeth, great lawyer, and she had a team of paralegal's and other attorneys helping out. They explored every procedural avenue in trying to win my case. And while I got impatient with the amount of court appearances, I realized these court dates, and the procedures that must be followed, open up many opportunities for the Prosecutors to screw up. It doesn't matter that I believe I shouldn't have been pulled over in the first place; the expertise and aggressiveness of my attorney in using procedural law to my advantage was second to none. My last court date related to a motion to suppress. Elizabeth argued that the DA's office did not supply correct and timely evidence. On a side note, after listening to my lawyer's oral argument I now understand what they mean by an "aggressive defense". It reminded me of scenes right out of NBC's LA Law. The motion to suppress was successful. And without that evidence there was no case, so my case was dismissed. I was not expecting a dismissal, and wasn't promised one, but I can't complain. I was expecting aggressive, knowledgeable attorneys. And while I can't compare this experience with one in the past, if you are looking for a firm that: 1. Puts your mind at ease from your initial consulation 2. Are experts in DUI/DWI cases and 3. Will aggressively explore every option then I would recommend this law group to everyone.

When I went to court she had another lawyer fill in for her and he had no clue what my case was about to the point of telling the judge wrong information. when I needed Elizabeth's help because I was summoned to go back to court she wouldn't return my email. I would never return to her again. be careful on this one..
