She also BCC’d me on all correspondence with opposing counsel, making the entire process transparent. This level of transparency was a welcome surprise, especially after my previous experience where I waited at least two weeks for a response. I had waited three months for my former attorney to submit my affidavit of financial information to pursue child support. Despite providing all requested documentation, he failed to submit it by the deadline, simply saying, “we can do that later.” I was clear that I was not in a position to delay child support and wanted to avoid trial, if possible. Kylie helped me secure child support within three months. She also helped me protect my private medical information from the last 10 years, which opposing counsel had requested. I was in a vulnerable place in my life, and every step Kylie took was focused on resolving my case in a way that supported me and my daughter. We settled without going to trial, achieving the best possible outcome for our daughter. I feel conflicted about “winning” in family court, but feel like I absolutely did!

My divorce took two long years and Kylie was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process, and continues to be today, even after it was finalized. She under promised and over delivered at every junction, making sure that my expectations were realistic and talking me off many an emotional ledge.
