Laura helped me so much and has extremely cared about my case. Not only she goes out of her way as an attorney but worked after hours for my case and called me after work hours. If i have any problems or questions she always reached out to me fast and replied to every question i have. Laura is the absolute best family law attorney you can hire. I was desperate and beat up by my ex and had false claims against me to take my kids away. I was distraught and hopeless. I hired another lawyer before switching to Laura and was not represented well by my previous lawyer. The time I could ...not see my boys because of lies of my ex to try ro get sole custody was horrific. I was a mess and I was demanding of Laura and I was pushy and a pest. Through out the whole 3 months it took to go to court to defeat my ex I was miserable not seeing my kids. Needless to say Laura hit it out of the park in court. She was siswell prepared and absolutely killed it in court. I knew from the second she began speaking in court I was going to win. I had my kids back that night and we won big time. I can not thank Laura enought, she is truly the best lawyer in the Valley in my opinion. I don't see how some people on here can give her a negative review. She knows family law so well and cares about her clients and she was so well prepared and well spoken, truly amazing!

My Wife and I decided to divroce last year. I was beside my self. Laura and her staff made me feel so comfortable. She guided me through the entire process and everything went better than I ever imagined. She was honest and did not let me hold out hope for expectations that were not reasonable. ... She set me straight a few times but she was right and the outcome was fair and reasonable and I could not have imagined a better result.

I just left the law office of Laura Gillis and I'm still furious. Until the moment I paid her she seemed organized and professional, but since the check cleared, she has been totally uncommunicative. When I finally called and told her secretary how angry I was at her behavior, she emailed back accusi...ng me of being disrespectful. She then claimed that she had been communicating with me all along and she still claims that even though I emailed her all the instances where she didn't. I fired her yesterday and she has charged me $1650 for her "work" so far, which is outrageous. My advice -- stay away from these people and hope that your opposition hires them.

Laura Gillis is a laywer that takes every case seperate and on a proffesional and yet personal level. Her consistancy with keeping me well informed of everything that was being done and was being sent concerning my case kept me at peace and gave me the utmost confidence in her legal knowledge and abi...lity to keep a proffesional composure in a courtroom setting that not only won my case,however gave me the greatest gift of all, MY SON. I would recommend her to anyone that needs a laywer that doesn't come to work to check on her financial standings with her clients, however she comes to work to check on her work which is the core of her profession. Her clients take presidence over anything. I could never repay her fo her services and would use her over and over when needed
