I agree with the other negative reviews. Follow through is terrible. Many emails go unanswered. No report for months even with asking for follow up. Then report finally comes back full of incorrect information, including ams of child from a different client that was copy and pasted from another clien...ts report. I informed him of the corrections that needed to be made. heard nothing back, no report ever filed. I was so happy when his term expired. I think PC's could have an important roll in high conflict "co-parenting" situations. That won't be the case with SDS

Steve Sheldon was hired as a parenting coordinator in my case. I wrote to them my concerns, asking to set up an appointment. An appointment was set, but cancelled. They refused to work with me on a payment plan, even not returning my calls. After reading the other reviews, I can see that Steve Sh...eldon would not have been good in my case because my children's father is an abuser who does things wrong and continues to get away with things. Now I see why Judge Kemp and Judge Brotherton appointed Steve Sheldon as PC....they and others in my case also sided with my abusive ex, even when we proved my ex lying in court. Do not hire Steve Sheldon!

I am not sure what happened in those other cases - but mine went very smoothly. Judge Sheldon was and still is my parenting coordinator. He called both of us out on our crap - and made very well explained recommendations. I did not necessarily like all the recommendations and rules - but who does?... I would rather have him help me with my issues then have to face my ex alone. I believe he is very sensitive to domestic violence issues and that was helpful.

Steve Sheldon is not someone I recommend using for your family court case. Sheldon is slow to respond to your communications, and generally lacks any kind of integrity. Sheldon will try to sell you on the fact that he was a former family court judge(like that is a good thing), unfortunately he forg...ets he no longer is a judge because he believes he can do whatever he wants and doesn't have to answer to you. Do yourself a favor and find someone who actually cares about trying to resolve your issues fairly and in a non-biased way, because Sheldon is not the person to do that.

Steve Sheldon is an unscrupulous hack, who cares more about his ego and cashing your check then he does about the care and well being of his clients. Don't even consider using Sheldon as your lawyer or Parenting Coordinator(PC). PCs are supposed do be non-biased, neutral parties that are there to ...try and help resolve conflict, instead Steve Sheldon helps to create conflict. A PC is also supposed to make recommendations to the court that are based on fact, giving both parties time to respond to any accusations. Instead, Steve Sheldon writes reports to the court that are full of lies and mis-representations and He only gives the side that he favors an opportunity to have input into the report. Do yourself a huge favor and do not use the legal services of Steven Sheldon otherwise you will regret it.
