Our Family Hero!

Until a name was given to the trip of abuse I and my children suffered, I had no way to really get help. Judge Sheldon read everything I brought him, he truly listens and was able to see through the many layers that constitute the Personality a disorder my ex suffers and thus, the spacific crazy...-making abuse that never stops, even after years of divorce. I highly recommend Jusge Steven Sheldon if you ex refuses to allow you to disengage from that cycle of abuse you thought you were going I escape with the divorce. He is fair, honest, and knows how these guys target you and what it does to your children. There is hope!

Do NOT use Steve Sheldon

Steve Sheldon was hired as a parenting coordinator in my case. I wrote to them my concerns, asking to set up an appointment. An appointment was set, but cancelled. They refused to work with me on a payment plan, even not returning my calls. After reading the other reviews, I can see that Steve Sh...eldon would not have been good in my case because my children's father is an abuser who does things wrong and continues to get away with things. Now I see why Judge Kemp and Judge Brotherton appointed Steve Sheldon as PC....they and others in my case also sided with my abusive ex, even when we proved my ex lying in court. Do not hire Steve Sheldon!

Thank you Judge Sheldon

I am not sure what happened in those other cases - but mine went very smoothly. Judge Sheldon was and still is my parenting coordinator. He called both of us out on our crap - and made very well explained recommendations. I did not necessarily like all the recommendations and rules - but who does?... I would rather have him help me with my issues then have to face my ex alone. I believe he is very sensitive to domestic violence issues and that was helpful.

Mrs

Steve was appointed as my parenting coordinator Issues 1. He charges 400 retainer from both parents and the parents have to pay or he threatens to report to judge. Going to a PC should be no more than 150 a visit. He is abusing parents because he knows we have no choice but to pay 2. He was a ...judge for many years which means he is friends with them. He will uphold any decision the judge order. 3. He is completely biased. He favors fathers. So even if they are breaking the court order he will basically condone it. Ex our court order says no intoxication around daughter. He said well it's okay if it's a family function. If father is making derogatory comments to child or mother he will leave that out of the report. 4. He sent us to see Muriel S. McClellan, Ph.D. Whom also charged 400 each parent. She met with each parent separately and the child for 2 hours. The child's wishes and what the child shared for 2 hours were completely omitted which included emotional abuse she is receiving from father. 5. Steve's report to the judge completely ignored fathers non compliance with court order and child's 16 out reach and her 2 hour interview and instead making mother look bad fir reporting court order violations and concern for child Parenting coordinators could care less about the best interest of the child.

Horrible Parenting Coordinator/Mediator

Steve Sheldon is not someone I recommend using for your family court case. Sheldon is slow to respond to your communications, and generally lacks any kind of integrity. Sheldon will try to sell you on the fact that he was a former family court judge(like that is a good thing), unfortunately he forg...ets he no longer is a judge because he believes he can do whatever he wants and doesn't have to answer to you. Do yourself a favor and find someone who actually cares about trying to resolve your issues fairly and in a non-biased way, because Sheldon is not the person to do that.

"I just cannot say enough about the abilities and intelligence of Mr. Sheldon. His experience as a Superior Court Judge, and his private sector experience, puts him above the rest. He is very fair and unbiased, and I would recommend him to anyone needing a mediator or parenting coordinator."
