6 years ago I was in an accident at 6 am in the morning, sideswiped by a truck without any lights on. I had three cocktails the night before and was cited for a dui. 5/12 years after the original ticket the case was dismissed, only to be refiled 4 months later. I am very fortunate to be writing this review about Trent Buckallew. In 1992 I was 19 years old, and in Spring Training in Tempe, AZ. for the Seattle Mariners. I was stopped one night and arrested for an alleged DUI. It is 2013, and I had to face these charges from Massachusetts. I searched all o...ver for an AZ. lawyer, and I was not physically, nor emotionally secure with any of the lawyers I spoke with, until Trent. This man had me feeling confident within a matter of minutes. His knowledge on the topic was amazing. I say with the utmost confidence; that his knowledge, and persistence were "hard charging". Mr. Buckallew represented me last year and did a great job. I was looking at 2 counts aggravated assault with a deadly weapon 1 count disorderly conduct and leaving the scene of an accident. My first plea was for 3 1/2 years in prison and my public defender was not going to help me at all. So I picke...d up the phone and had about 12 consultations and the way Mr. Buckallew wanted to handle my case and the way he presented himself blew every other lawyer out of the water. So I hired him to represent me. My case went on for 2 to 3 months and I was never in the dark about what was going on and feel I got the best defense there is. I ended up getting 6 months in county jail and standard probation. Mr. Buckallew did everything he said he was going to do and I could see he actually cares about the well being of his clients. I felt like a horrible person after talking to some of the other lawyers and Mr. Buckallew never made me feel that way.
