I confess… we initially thought this was a process we could do on our own. After gathering all the information needed, and hours of aggravation (mostly spent trying to decipher the instructions), I threw up my hands and (nearly in tears) asked my husband to find a lawyer. In September of 2014, my hus...band and I brought our MANY immigration forms to Roya, looking for guidance on an application for Adjustment of Status.
