A trademark matter brought me to a helpful online article by Mr. Haar. I contacted and engaged him to resolve the matter!

Through some social media I produced regarding a competitor's product, the owner of that company contacted me and made comments about me 'infringing on their trademark' and used the phrase 'cease and desist' to talk about their product due to them 'owning the trademark.' I am not a lawyer, I'm an... engineer/scientist so I knew I had to get professional help. I began as many of us likely do these days, searching online. I found - rather quickly - a few helpful article and in particular one by Mr. Aaron Haar of Jaburg Wilk. I'm not based in the same state, but that actually served to my advantage financially. I cannot say enough about Mr. Haar's professionalism, competence, care, and thoroughness. His assistance was also prompt and helpful in arranging calls, emails, etc. But specifically, after being provided with a VERY thorough list of the options I could pursue to address the trademark matter, I decided I needed to engage with Mr. Haar, and did so. It was the first legal situation I had to engage in related to my business (the first was incorporation itself which was a pretty turn-key affair) and I knew I was in excellent hands. He also has a referral network including patent filings (they handle trademark filing themselves) so I know whatever my business legal needs are, Mr. Haar and his firm can handle it. Beyond professionalism, I can tell Mr. Haar truly cares about justice and fair application of the law. He clarified points I didn't understand and provided the kind of expert advice and action one hopes for but doesn't always receive in this field. I'm very happy I can get back to what I need to do with my business and I know I have an excellent attorney if or when I may need one.
