I was charged with an aggravated dui and while on release subsequently was charged with aggravated assault DV. I truly felt I was innocent in both cases but not being wealthy or having connections, things weren't looking to good for me. Over an almost 4 year span Carmen was there to help me fully u...nderstand my situation, the different options that I had, and what the possible outcome that could be. Her professionalism and personable approach allowed me to make what I believe are some of the most important decisions in my life. The outcome of what seemed like a nightmare was the DV case was dropped to a disorderly conduct misdemeanor, what we asked for 3 years prior. The 2 dui felonies we took to a jury trial where I was found not guilty on both charges. Unless you or a loved one is or have been charged with a serious crime it's hard to understand the hopelessness that one can feel. I feel like I've been reborn and have my life back. When you have not been engaged as a defendant within the legal system you are at a severe disadvantage unless you have an excellent attorney. You may be intelligent, well spoken, business-savvy and above all innocent of the charges against you; but none of that matters. It is THE ATTORNEY that matt...ers. They are the vehicle, the educator, the confidant, the presenter of facts and your character as well as what is right and wrong in determining innocence or guilt. Carmen Gosselin HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK IN ALL AREAS! Her ability to know the law and applicable cases / precedence countered every move of the prosecutor with successful objections, requests for stipulations and above all language and explanations of the law and reasonable doubt to the jury. She was professional as well as personable and understanding that life events put me in a legal situation that could very well have been perceived as guilt without doubt. But she applied the appropriate defense and communicated her inquiries, and explanations of fact and law from a perspective that left the court and jury clearly seeing the difference between the prosecutors fact and speculation. I would highly recommend her as an attorney, mediator, articulator, and general life/business advisor based on the above, but more importantly based on her character. I am happy for others who will be able to work with her on their legal matters and am proud to be able to endorse her based on my experience. Thank you Carmen !

Carmen was very informed of my DUI case and offered options for me that ranged from the worst case to the best case scenario. She kept me in the loop of all proceedings via email, phone calls and text. In my case, she got me the opportunity to serve my sentence via work furlough (instead of departmen...t of corrections) which helped me keep my job, provide for my family and complete my sentence without having to alter my world.

I've tried several times to offer up my opinion of Carman Gosselin,in order to express my appreciation and recognition of a lawyer who is working on a case of mine. Unfortunately, on past attempts, my reviews never made it to the site and I put it on the back burner, hopefully this will make it to pr...int.First let me say in my sixtey some years of dealing with lawyers I've had more bad then good memories to reflect back on.However, in my dealings with Ms. Gosselin, I felt it my obligation to recognize this lawyer for what she is, a true proffesional in her feild. I must admit these days it's refreshing to come accross someone so dedicated to her proffesion.In all my dealings with her I have found her to go the extra mile to insure justice is served.In the many months that she has represented me I have never had a problem contacting her, on the many occasions where it was necessary to leave a voicemail message she always returned my call promptly. She is extemely knowledgable and very willing to address any concerns I have.I have taken the time to watch her in action by watching her in court defending someone I didn't know when she was with the Public Defenders office. I must admit, it was because of that case and the way she handled herself that when it became necessary for me to obtain legal counsel I sought her out. I was pleased to find out that she had opted to branch out, and opened her own practice.It was gratifying to see a young proffesionable who obviously paid her dues to get to the point of being able to open her own practice.I was pleasantly surprised after finding out she was on her own. Needless to say, after meeting face to face and reaffirming my belief that there are some good lawyers out there I signed her up for my defense. I must confess it was because of her attitude and the way she looks out for me that my opinion of the legal field has changed, for the better. I only wish there were more lawyers like her, she clearly has my best interest in mind when representing me. In my opinion she is in it to win it, unlike most attorneys these days, who are only in it for the bucks and would rather plead you out then take the time and seek justice be served
