Biography
Matt Munson's legal practice is devoted to Bankruptcy, Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, Corporate Law, and Estate Planning. He is a member of the Utah Bar Association, American Bar Association and is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of the State of Utah and the United States District Court for the District of Utah.
Upon graduating from law school, Matt founded M.A. Munson Law, P.C., where our mission to zealously and effectively advocate on behalf of every client that we have the opportunity to represent. In order to do this, we are driven to constantly and consistently increase our knowledge of the latest updates to the statues, regulations, and laws that impact the areas in which we practice, as well as the latest practice trends that help to make everyone in our office more effective at what we do. We are also constantly seeking to expand our resources and improving our processes, so that we can continue to deliver the very best experience possible for each one of our clients. For example, at M.A. Munson Law, we have embraced a transparent, set-fee approach to the practice of law for many types of cases. Unlike the old and outdated billable-hour model, this set-fee approach allows our clients to know the extent of their legal fees before they ever retain our services--and they can be assured that they will not be billed for every phone call, or email, or even any time someone in our office even thinks about their case. We are confident that these types of changes go a long way towards establishing a high degree of trust and credibility with our clients, and are, perhaps, one of the reasons that M.A. Munson Law was recently voted Best Criminal Defense Firm in Iron County (2020).
