Attorney J Bryan Jackson

Mr. Jackson was initially very kind when I consulted with him. So I hired him to file my divorce. Since my husband and I had no minor children and we were not disputing with each other, Mr. Jackson assured me that this would be very quick and that he could waive the 90 day waiting period. Things went... well until he suddenly stopped communicating. No phone calls from either he or his secretary for months. I called his office and spoke to his secretary. She assured me that he would have my case done very soon. Then there was nothing. I left many messages at his office but never got a return call. I also stopped by his office on a daily basis only to find the door locked and and the lights out. So I worried that he had skipped town or something. Finally I called his cell phone at night and he did answer but things turned ugly very quickly. He told me that he would not return my phone calls and that he would finish my case when he was good and ready and that he would not appease me. He said I was welcome to get someone else. I told him I would if he was willing to refund my money that I had paid him. He said "you will not get your money back". By this time he was shouting. He asked if I wanted him to Bill me for the work he has put into my case. When I didn't answer he yelled at me to answer the question getting louder and louder. I finally had to hang up. Now I don't know where my case stands and I'm afraid to call him again. Will it be done in two weeks, two months or two years?

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I have worked on the same side as Bryan Jackson in many cases, and have also been opposing counsel in cases in which Bryan Jackson represented the other party. What I have learned each time is that Bryan Jackson does a great job advocating on behalf of his clients. Bryan works hard and gets things done, and he does not hide the band does not hide the ball, and anyone who works with him appreciates that about him. His personality, integrity, and his unrelenting pursuit of justice for his clients are what set Bryan Jackson apart from many other attorneys. I have no reservations whatsoever in endorsing this great attorney."
