About Matthew
Biography
I grew up in northern California about 15 minutes west of Oakland in the Walnut Creek/Concord area. It was awesome and miss it greatly. I met my wife at the University of Utah. Ironically, she was born roughly 30 miles from where I was born. I was born in Walnut Creek and my wife in Tracy. I played football, baseball and soccer growing up and was quite good at all three (not to brag, but this is an "about me" segment). I played junior college football and also coached varsity football for two years when I was younger. My second year of coaching we went undefeated. It was quite the experience. My lifelong dream is to simply coach high school football again.
My wife and I love movies and our daughter. We spend a great deal of time together and have a great marriage. I am blessed to be business partners with one of my best friends who is a great person, friend and attorney. I am blessed to have associations with very good people and examples in my circle of influence and hope to be worthy of their friendship.
As for my legal practice there is really only one thing you need to know, I love to win. It doesn't matter if it is a game of tennis, Jenga or a hearing. I hate losing, which is good for my clients.

Helped me with my divorce
Matt was part of the team at Arnold & Wadsworth that helped me with my divorce. It was good to have a "team" of attorneys and not get double billed for it. He also used email and the phone to keep me updated. It was a successful experience.
