After making one of the most embarrassing and stupidest decisions of my life, I contacted Schatz, Anderson & Associates by email for a consultation. Almost immediately I was left a voicemail from their receptionist, as well as a phone call I was able to answer directly from Steve. After being charged with multiple felonies and presenting my case to Steve Anderson and his team, he did a superb job fighting for the best possible outcome. While going through the entire process, Steve was always available to answer any questions I had and did a wonderful job helping me remain calm... and confident. Steve and Chad did everything they could to help keep me informed and provide me with as much information as possible. When it was all said and done, Steve worked with the prosecutor and manged to get my charges dropped to misdemeanors with only probation. Steve also had the insight to include in the deal a 402 Charge Reduction once I complete my probation. I did not know anything like this existed, but Steve had the foresight to include it into the deal with the prosecutor. I don't know if any other attorney would have thought to include that. After everything was said and done, Steve went out of his way to help me with my probation terms, even though he had already completed his end of our contract. He went out of his way to ensure that all loose ends were completely wrapped up. I don't remember the exact things Steve said to me, but I will always remember how he made me feel and how he provided me with the piece of mind I needed while going through my horrific experience. My 17 year old son was pulled over by police for an "illegal lane change". He was charged with a DUI after they got him to admit he had smoked marijuana 12 hours earlier that day. Along with the DUI, he was charged with speeding, illegal lane change, and tobacco possession -(he had a can of chew in... his truck) There was no alcohol involved with his DUI charge. It is actually called a Metabolite DUI. I had never hired a lawyer before, or even talked to a lawyer before. I reached out to Steve Anderson's office hoping they could help my son. Steve was our saving grace. He met with us right away, and was truly interested in helping us with our situation. Steve was able to get my son's license reinstated by determining there was not reasonable suspicion to take it from a traffic violation to an investigation and arrest, and the DLD agreed. In court, Steve was able to get 3 of the 4 charges dropped. The DUI was reduced to "impaired driving". More important, he was very professional with my son. He talked to him about the consequences of a DUI, and the impact it has on your life and lives of others. I am very thankful for the legal representation we received from Steve and his firm. Any questions I had were answered quickly, phone calls were returned within the hour, and emails were quickly responded to. I always knew what our next step was, and felt very informed throughout the entire process.
