Matt is a great attorney! Highly recommend him!

Matt was a great attorney! On my initial visit we thought it was going to be an easy case...not so much! Matt was there every step of the way. He knew exactly what to do and kept me very reassured. This was a tough long and drawn out case, but he never backed down. I had a great outcome and would hig...hly recomend him to anyone.

Strongly Recommend

My divorce process lasted for two horrendous years. However, Matthew and Sarah stood by me all the step of the way. All effort to settle with my ex, the petitioner, without the need for trial proved abortive. We went to mediation, I presented him with two different settlement offers, attended settlem...ent conference but he refused to settle. Sometime during the process, a major health concern showed up but this was not enough to stop my ex from refusing to settle. I was faced with fighting for my life and getting divorced all at the same time. I had to go in for a lifesaving surgery, and two weeks later had a court hearing. Through it all, Matthew and Sarah were very empathetic and professional. They made sure that all necessary court documents were prepared and submitted on-time. Matthew’s compassion for my children was outstanding. He understood that the well-being of my children was by far the most important to me, and he made sure that their best interests were represented all through the process. Matthew was very prompt at responding to my emails and he met with me periodically to discuss our next step and possible outcomes. He was very fair and equitable in his suggestions on how assets and debts should be distributed. He did not give me a false impression about the process. Rather, he explained and made me understand how the court system works, and he was very conscious of my financial state. He worked with me to ensure that I was not financially ruined after the divorce was over. Knowing that I could not afford the costs of him representing me at the divorce trial, he made the process very smooth and easy for me to step into. All ER904’s, trial brief and exhibits were prepared by Matthew and Sarah, necessary copies for all involved were made by them and delivered promptly. All I had to do was review all documents and show up for trial by myself, and I felt confident and well prepared. They also helped me to draft all the final orders. While I don’t pray for anyone to go through what I went through, I strongly recommend that you contact Matthew and his team should it become necessary for you to get divorced.

I am so happy to have Matthew representing me in my divorce.

Matthew Kuehnl has been representing me in my divorce. He has been absolutely incredible; I consider it a blessing that I found him. Before meeting Matthew, I was set on using a female lawyer and was not open to using a male. I met with him for a consolation and after getting to know him I cam...e to realize that he was caring, trustworthy, intelligent, and able to stand by my family in the ways we needed. When I retained Matthew I was completely naive in my understanding of how difficult my divorce would be. Matthew jumped into action when the divorce started taking a turn for the worse. BECAUSE he is by my side, I have the peace of mind I need to make it through a very difficult time. He has shown the perfect balance of caring about everyone affected by this divorce and fighting for what is best for the kids and I. He has been impressive in court; he is smart, well spoken, and quick on his toes. He has proved that he cares about my children and I by standing up for us in and outside of the court room too many times to count. He has gone above and beyond for us. Matthew has not been afraid to let me know the ways I can do better, especially the ways I need to stand up for myself and have my own back. This has been tremendously important for me and I do not believe another lawyer could have shown up for me in the ways he has. I am so grateful for the peace of mind I have with him by my side.

Attorney review

I got the pleasure of working with Matthew Kuehnl for my custody/child support case. He advocated and stood up for my kid and myself both in mediation and attorney to attorney interactions. He was very much a straight shooter but left the ball in my court recognizing I hired him to do the legal part ...but the final decision was always mine. I never felt blind sided about what the next step was and always felt informed on expectations of the process. He was quick to respond to my concerns/emails and understanding that the entire process was nothing but nerve racking for me. Very personable too. From day one until final orders were filed- he was extremely helpful.

Matthew Kuehnl was great from start to finish.

Matthew Kuehnl handled a case for me. He is very knowledgeable and he brought my case to a conclusion that I am very, very happy with. He kept me informed, explained clearly all my options and quickly returned my calls. I had a good feeling about him from the beginning.
