Going through a situation that no one wants to be in, it was such a comfort to know that Matthew Kuehnl was my attorney. Prior to hiring Matt, I had been with another firm who passed my case off to a junior partner who had just passed the bar a month before. Matthew Kuehnl has been representing me in my divorce. He has been absolutely incredible; I consider it a blessing that I found him. I got the pleasure of working with Matthew Kuehnl for my custody/child support case. He advocated and stood up for my kid and myself both in mediation and attorney to attorney interactions. He was very much a straight shooter but left the ball in my court recognizing I hired him to do the legal part ...but the final decision was always mine. I never felt blind sided about what the next step was and always felt informed on expectations of the process. He was quick to respond to my concerns/emails and understanding that the entire process was nothing but nerve racking for me. Very personable too. Thankfully Matt knew it was and what I was experiencing was exactly that. In the consultation he outlined a spectrum of possible outcomes, depen...ding on the judge and a number of other factors. In the end, the case ended almost exactly where he most likely suspected it would, and thanks to his knowledge and experience I've enjoyed a few months so far of drama free co parenting. Matt is the best. He has excellent integrity, has a caring disposition and has vast knowledge of family law and local rule.
