The past two years I have had to use this firm many times. They have helped with many different legal items and been there for all aspects of the legal issues We have had.
In todays world it's hard to find a attorney that you can trust and know that they are there for you, and you are not just money in their pocket.
They have you best interest at heart and care. A rare find in today's world.
I will continue to use this firm as long as I have legal issues. They know their business and that makes this firm tops in legal field.
I have had dealing with other attorney's in the past and was not satisfied and didn't trust them or their firm. That is what made us look for another firm. Two years and counting and we are still with this firm. This is the only firm for my family.
Prior to partnering with Carson Pearson, Jeff Butler worked as corporate in-house counsel for companies in Utah and California. He has experience with real estate law, mortgage law, business law, and healthcare law. He also has also extensive healthcare administration experience. He is an active member of the Utah Bar Association and California Bar Association. He holds an active Principal Lending Manager license in Utah and held an active Real Estate Brokers License for almost 10 years in California.
Mr. Butler grew up in Utah and California. He graduated from Brigham Young University where he graduated with University Honor Program. He attended the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University while also pursuing a master degree from the Romney Institute of Public Management. During law school, he externed for two federal judges, the Honorable Judge Benson and the Honorable Judge Green.
EXCELLENT!!! I couldn't happier with this firm! They go above and beyond! Dealing with a death in the family and they handled the estate.

Bankruptcy
We were at the end of our rope and had no choice but to file bankruptcy, we just didn't want to admit it. We were self employed and our small business had served us well for many years; taking care of us and our four children. However with the downturn of the economy the business stopped making money and we found ourselves tapping first our savings and then our retirement to make ends meet. Once that money ran out we were reduced to using credit cards to pay for everything, including groceries and utilities. When we maxed those out and couldn't pay the monthly credit card bills the never ending calls from the collectors began. That is when a good friend of ours referred us to the law firm of Pearson, Butler, Carson, & Cook. We first met with attorney Carson Pearson who very patiently listened to our whole situation and then laid out all of our options. We elected to do a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy which is a total bankruptcy. At our next meeting we met with attorney Leonard Carson who talked to us about additional things we needed to decide. We decided to short sale our house instead of letting it foreclose and we reaffirmed the debt on our car because we didn't want to lose the family vehicle. One of the things we were most nervous about was the Meeting of the Creditors with the Trustee. Attorney Jeff Butler accompanied us to the court house and told us before hand everything that would take place. It definitely calmed our fears and made everything go smoothly. From the date that we filed bankruptcy to the date that we were granted a discharge on our bankruptcy was only 67 days! The bankruptcy court requires that at least 63 days elapse before a discharge is granted. We had heard of attorneys whose client's bankruptcies take much longer to get discharged and run into all kinds of complications. Thankfully with the professionalism and expertise of the lawyers at Pearson, Butler, Carson, & Cook our Chapter 7 Bankruptcy went very quickly and smoothly. Best of all they never belittled us or made us feel dumb. At each step of the way they were there to hold our hand through the whole process. We recommend that anyone who is considering a bankruptcy take the time to meet with the attorneys at Pearson, Butler, Carson, & Cook.

Knowledgable, fast, and Kind
Bankruptcy and divorce are not easy to deal with or talk about. Jeff was so understanding and knowledgeable that he made me feel at ease, answered all my questions (there were many at all hours of the day!), and helped me see that this was just a small stumbling step in my life. Jeff truly cares about helping people and it shows. I highly recommend Jeff to anyone considering divorce or Bankruptcy. --You rock Jeff!
