Jim worked with Jeremy who really helped me with my divorce (which was nastier than it should have been), but he also helped me with my business issues. Jim is the kind of attorney that most people wish they had. Jim comes across as a "thinker" when you first meet with him because he goes over all of the details. So, divorce sucks for everyone, that's for sure. Jim did my divorce and he fought for me. There are attorneys that I met with that I could tell didn't care about me or my case. They just wanted my retainer and would "tell me what I wanted to hear" so they could sign me up. I knew from the first m...oment that I spoke with Jim that my experience with him would be different. Jim took the time to ask me questions. He thought about how certain facts in my specific situation would affect how things would turn out. When I asked Jim about alimony. He told me that truth that I may get some, but I needed to prove that I needed it and that my ex could afford to pay me. We went over different options and we worked out different scenarios on how things would play out. Jim never made any guarantees, but I knew that he was prepared when we went to court. He fought hard for me. Truthfully, it was a horrible experience. Court is horrible. I cried several times. The good news is that we didn't win EVERYTHING that we wanted, but we got about 90% of EVERYTHING. Now that some time has passed and Jim asked me to write this review for him, all I can say is that Jim did an excellent job and I am so glad that I hired him.
