So, divorce sucks for everyone, that's for sure. Jim did my divorce and he fought for me. There are attorneys that I met with that I could tell didn't care about me or my case. They just wanted my retainer and would "tell me what I wanted to hear" so they could sign me up. I knew from the first m...oment that I spoke with Jim that my experience with him would be different. Jim took the time to ask me questions. He thought about how certain facts in my specific situation would affect how things would turn out. When I asked Jim about alimony. He told me that truth that I may get some, but I needed to prove that I needed it and that my ex could afford to pay me. We went over different options and we worked out different scenarios on how things would play out. Jim never made any guarantees, but I knew that he was prepared when we went to court. He fought hard for me. Truthfully, it was a horrible experience. Court is horrible. I cried several times. The good news is that we didn't win EVERYTHING that we wanted, but we got about 90% of EVERYTHING.
