Kurt graduated from Brigham Young University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Art degree. He then worked as a paralegal for a large Utah disability law firm before law school. Kurt completed his Juris Doctorate at the J. Reuben Clark, School of Law in 2016.
While in law school, Kurt was an editor of the Brigham Young University Law Review, President of Phi Delta Phi, and President of the Trial Advocacy Team. Kurt also had the opportunity to compete in several Moot Court and Trial Advocacy competitions across the country. Due to his participation in the local and legal community, he was awarded the Faculty Award for Meritorious Achievement and Distinguished Service and the Public Interest Service Award.
Following his graduation from law school, Kurt was an attorney at the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center. He was then associated with Robert J. DeBry and Associates, where he worked with Utah personal injury clients.
Now a part of Craig Swapp & Associates, Kurt handles every aspect of an injury case from pre-litigation to litigation. Kurt conducts small claims trials, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
