What a joke

hired Joe alamilla through the legal boys. Right from the beginning there were issues with getting calls returned or any info on how the cases were progressing. always were left wondering what was going on. They made me feel like we were not even getting defended instead got treated like they just w...anted the money and didnt want to work for it. Then right in the middle of it all he just quits. No explanation and wasnt even going to inform me that he was no longer going to defend. Left me hanging on the day of court. Very unprofessional. You are better off defending yourself.

West - I'm sorry that you were frustrated and I know you were not the only one frustrated with the legal referral service that paired us together, which is why I stopped using them as a third party referral resource. Too many things fell through the cracks in terms of communication and when I stopped working with them I withdrew on the cases I had through them, which included yours. Again, I'm sorry you were frustrated.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
