Amazing !
Joey was very helpful and took his time to make sure we had the best deal. His ability to pay attention to detail is absolutely amazing. I have recommended Joey to a lot of people and I will continue to recommend him to everybody.

What Was I Thinking
Hiring Mr. Alamilla was the worst experience. He was late to court (by over 30 min) twice which lead to my feeling of extreme non-confidence in the courtroom. He blamed it on traffic, his kids, other court appearances before 9am in the morning??, (alien abduction) or whatever and he didn't call me ...
I'm sorry that you were frustrated. I responded promptly to your new lawyer's emails and gave over the significant documents on the work I had done on your case. Your case is and was complicated and involved more than a few hearings, a guardian ad litem, and more than one and a half years of litigation. Too many things fell through the cracks when my paralegal's brother died suddenly and when I switched offices, and for that I am sorry.

There must be better lawyers out there
I hired Joseph Alamilla through Outlaw Legal Services. I am sure he did his best in defending me, but beware! He does not answer emails or telephone calls. I had to get Outlaw Legal Services involved before he would contact me. When your future is on the line I would expect a defender that put mo...
I stopped using these guys as a third party referral resource because there was too much confusion between their referrals and my office. The communication had to go through their office before it got to my office. I stopped it for several reasons and chief among them was the confusion that lead to negative reviews (2 negative reviews in 15 years). I'm sorry you were frustrated.

They made me feel like we were not even getting defended instead got treated like they just w...
West - I'm sorry that you were frustrated and I know you were not the only one frustrated with the legal referral service that paired us together, which is why I stopped using them as a third party referral resource. Too many things fell through the cracks in terms of communication and when I stopped working with them I withdrew on the cases I had through them, which included yours. Again, I'm sorry you were frustrated.
