I focus on community association law, real estate, and business litigation. I have extensive homeowners’ association and condominium law experience representing associations, owners, and developers. I represent numerous homeowner and condominium associations and have experience drafting new rules and regulations, amending and updating CC&Rs, helping boards with corporate governance and proper decision making, helping board members understand relevant laws, enforcing restrictive covenants, and representing associations in litigation. On the homeowner side, have successfully represented homeowners in disputes against HOAs on a variety of matters including claims for and against arbitrary and capricious enforcement, reasonable accommodation under the Fair Housing Act, fights over rental restrictions, disputing imposition of thousands of dollars in fines for alleged violations, and failure to follow the CC&Rs.
I also work with clients on real estate matters including purchase and sale agreements, due diligence, easement issues, purchase options, and litigation over failed real estate transactions, construction defects, and negligent non-disclosure of defects.
I try to help clients solve problems short of litigation by thinking outside the box and working collaboratively to resolve disputes. But sometimes there is no choice but to push ahead with litigation, and I can litigate your matter through trial in a cost-effective way.
I received my J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and my bachelor’s degree from University of Chicago. I am currently licensed in Utah, Florida, and Washington state. I helped form the Utah Bar's Community Association Law Section, and was the inaugural chairperson of the Section.

Amenned Governing Documents for an Association
Robert completed the process required to update and amend the governing documents for our community association. There was a very nasty and contentious set of minority homeowners who tried ever possible illegal set of maneuvers to try to keep the amended documents approved by a majority of homeowner...

Great Attorney. Review from HOA President
We hired Robert to redraft the Declaration and Bylaws for our homeowners association. He did a terrific job. He came to meetings and was able to handle questions and concerns with homeowners very well. We could not have gotten our new CCR's passed without him.

Robert was instrumental in helping us with our HOA case.
Robert was very knowledgable in HOA law and worked with us to come up with a solution against our board. He is very bright, hard working and was able to solve our issues after several conversations. Robert has an amazing ability to communicate with his clients. I highly recommend.
"I previously worked with Robert on a variety of different matters including HOA, commercial litigation and real property litigation. Robert is an excellent problem solver and extremely knowledgeable in his practice areas."
"I worked with Robert Rosing on a litigation matter and also had the opportunity to observe his work on transactional and real estate matters. He is zealous, tough, and a creative problem-solver."
