Nathan was a guest speaker at a retirement home in which we were in attendance. He spoke to our level of understanding. At the end he handed out pamphlets which included his contact information. Based upon his presentation my wife and I felt a more pressing need to set our affairs in order. Sever...al months later we made an appointment with him for a consultation. We liked what we told and went ahead and hired him to draw up the trust for us. He explained things in layman's terms, made little diagrams and answered all of our questions, which were many. We both felt he was talking with us as a friend and not down to us as a high-minded attorney. He wanted very much that we should understand everything he was telling us and reworded things several times for our clarification. Ours was not a terribly complex financial situation but military service and potential VA benefits were a big part of the equation. Nathan explained all of this to our satisfaction and we realized this was something we needed to do so he drew up the papers for a family trust and we put everything in place and felt that the money charged for the service was worth the peace of mind it brought to us. I have since had a couple of little questions for him and he has responded well to my inquiries, either by e-mail or by phone. I have absolutely no reservations about referring him to others for this service.

Nathan was extremely helpful. He reviewed our old legal documents and stated they could stand, but after our discussion with him, we determined it was in our best interests to invest in new legal documents. One area that we hadn't realized as a problem was the way our old documents had listed execu...tors of our estate. Nathan caught it and we changed it to reflect that both our children are equal executors. We have an electronic copy of the documents so we can share with our children as well as a well organized binder at home. Our legal documents are much more detailed now and it's nice to know we have access to him in the future! If you want straight forward family legal work, you can't go wrong with Nathan! We highly recommend him.
