Elizabeth A Dalton

Liz acted as a divorce mediator during my divorce. She was kind, professional, and helped bridge the divide. Since the divorce, she has helped my grown children figure out how to come to terms with the divorce. She also mediated a post-divorce spousal support modification. I can't imagine how har...d all this would have been without the calm, compassionate, and diplomatic skills Liz possesses. I would recommend her to anyone.

We used Liz to mediate our divorce and I couldn't be more pleased with the process and the outcome of our work with her. Divorce is an awful situation to find yourself in and I appreciated the knowledge and support that Liz was able to provide us with. There were many times where I would think, "I ...don't know what I'm going to do this" or "how do I handle this situation" and Liz would provide excellent suggestions. I feel like she was very fair to both of us and worked hard to not take sides.

Mrs. Dalton did a great job in mediation with my soon-to-be ex and I. She spent at least 9 hours on our case. She helped us see what mediation was about and helped us see that it is important to forget the past and move forward for the kids' sake. She let us negotiate back and forth until we came u...p with solutions. She made sure we both agreed together on items and then that is what she used to put into the divorce decree. She also guided us to a good middle ground on items we couldn't agree on. She is very positive and very passionate about what she does. She even gave us a signed copy of her book that she co-authored so we could learn more about the effects of divorce on children. She knew how to redirect us when we got out of hand during our negotiations. Mrs. Dalton does know what she is doing and it does stem from 25 years of experience. I felt she did a great job and I felt she was very concerned about our case. She wanted us to move forward and practice our co-parenting and start to heal. She was helping us to be able to communicate with each other again in a business like way so we could make this work for the kids. I would definitely recommend her.

Ms. Dalton mediated my high conflict divorce to great success. I was unable to reach an agreement with my narcissistic ex-husband until Ms. Dalton stepped in. She was able to hear both sides and through negotiating compromises for both of us, our divorce was able to be finalized. She was fair while s...till building trust and I felt she truly understood where we were each coming from. I would highly recommend her as a mediator.
