It is exceptionally rare to meet an attorney who TRULY has your interest as a primary objective. My Ex has an innate desire for my destruction. Dedicated and compassionate
When I first met Mr. Cotton I came to him completely scared and concerned about the future well-being of myself and my children. From the moment I met him I knew I had made the right decision in retaining him. He kept me calm during an incredibly stressful situation and made me feel comfortable through the entire process. I trust him completely. He worked tirelessly to protect me and my kids and I will forever be grateful. He is fair and is willing to work with the other side to try to come to a reasonable resolution. Great Lawyer
Jeff handled my very complex and volatile divorce. He was a tireless advocate for both me and my children, which yielded the best result. Fantastic Lawyer!!
Dogged, shrewd and highly intelligent, Jeff got me much better results for way less hassle from some other lawyers I’ve encountered with my ongoing legal battles. I saw firsthand what a passionate and effective lawyer he is. He completely turned the tables in my complex family law case and forced the other attorney into an excellent settlement in my favor, which also saved me some much appreciated money! If you’re reading this, you can stop your looking!
Jeff is a terrific attorney, and I couldn’t be happier with his handling of my custody case!! I went from owing over $500 a month in child support to my ex, who wasn’t even sharing custody of our son anymore, to getting sole custody and receiving over $600 in child support a month. When I first spoke with him, I asked him if he could be a bulldog – thankfully, he was!! My ex spent all sorts of my money on good attorneys, but eventually, it all wore thin and I totally won the case!! She just gave up because she knew I was going to win at trial. I strongly recommend you just stop right now and give Jeff a call.

EXCELSIOR!
From the moment I met with Jeff, I knew he was the guy. He listened to every detail, went through all of my paperwork and then couldn't wait to get the other attorney on the phone. Jeff knows protocol, he is one heck of a multi Tasker (crossing every "T" and dotting every "I"). Total Gentleman!!
I just called Mr. Cotton seeking to obtain an extension of child support payments from my existing Washington support order. Jeff explained that I wasn't able to even file my case in Idaho, and needed to go back through the Washington courts, where unfortunately, Jeff isn't licensed to practice. However, despite this, he actually spent at least another 10 minutes just discussing my case and helping me understand what I needed to do to get things resolved in Washington I asked if I could send him some money for helping me, and he said, "absolutely not." I wish he could be my lawyer, but unfortunately, I was only able to consult with him. What a VERY nice attorney!! Everyone else I've spoken to has been so rude, will not give me the time of day, and have treated me like I'm stupid. Thank you, Jeff!!!

AWESOME ATTORNEY!
Just hire Jeff, he’s an excellent lawyer! I used him to handle my contentious divorce. He handled absolutely everything and made what had become a gigantic pain into an effortless process, which I no longer had to even deal with anymore, thank god!! He is very good at what he does. My main concern was property allocation. I did very well in the settlement he negotiated, and I got everything I wanted and more… all the while, Jeff was always prompt to return my calls and answer my questions. He’s also a genuinely good guy, so I’d definitely recommend him to anyone.

Reliable and efficient
Jeff assisted me in a custody case with my ex-spouse. Jeff was able to navigate the complex custody law and advise me with specific details and direction. He provided options and was very communicative. Jeff also provided me was reassurance in knowing he was taking care of the heavy lifting throughout the whole court system process. It can be scary and frustrating dealing with family law issues when you don't really have an idea of what's going on. Jeff helped me immensely while walking me through each step. He took care of all the documentation, filing, and court appointments where I wasn't required to be there. He is an attorney I recommend often and would trust with any case. Highly recommend. Would hire again.
