Peter Arthur Mommer

Mr. Mommer is admitted to practice law in the State of Idaho, the State of New Mexico, and the State of Iowa. He has worked as a prosecutor for the States of New Mexico and Iowa where he has tried hundreds of cases before a jury including DUI cases, drug trafficking cases, white collar crime, and murder cases. Mr. Mommer now brings his litigation skills to the State of Idaho where he and his wife are raising their young son.

Before completing his juris doctorate at Western Michigan University, Mr. Mommer completed a Bachelor’s degree in pre-law at the University of Louisiana where he won two national collegiate waterski team championships.  He then went on to complete a Master’s degree in conflict resolution at the University of Queensland – Australia where he received high honors and was named a Center for Strategic and International Relations (CSIS) Young Leader for his work in nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament. 

While attending law school, Mr. Mommer was the Senior Articles Editor and Senior Research Editor for the Homeland and National Security Law Review where he was also published. Mr. Mommer also distinguished himself and received the highest honors in the rules of evidence, legal research and writing, and homeland and national security law.
