Jake was an amazing attorney. He was super kind but straight forward he eased my anxieties a lot about being in court as I’ve never done it before. He helped me with a protection order & a custody case. He did specific petitions so the judge knew exactly what I was asking for and why. We first made contact with Jake back in May of 2024 to help us in a custody case for my son. After interviewing multiple lawyers, we were most impressed with Jake’s determination, attitude, and professionalism. During the interview he took notes on our case and what we wanted as well as advised us... of what was most likely going to happen without sugar coating anything. In May we decided to attempt a settlement conference even though any attempt at mediation failed. During the conference Jake had my interests and concerns ready for the judge to hear as well as advised me without delay about potential settlements. Needless to say I felt more than comfortable with Jake by my side. By the end of it we were able to come to a settlement that insured my child would remain safe and home with us without the need to go to trial. We honestly never would have got to this without Jake and all the effort he brought. I would also like to add that Jennifer, Ann, Maren, and Misty all did amazing work helping with our case!
