Weston John Burke

Weston J. Burke is an attorney at Jones Law Partners. Weston’s areas of practice include family law, criminal defense, and civil litigation.

Weston is a lifelong Idahoan, born and raised in Southeast Idaho. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from Idaho State University, and then attended the University of Idaho, College of Law. During law school, Weston served as a Managing Editor of the Idaho Law Review. He was awarded the prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his academic efforts.

Weston graduated from law school in 2022, and was admitted to practice law in Idaho’s state courts and in the United States District Court of Idaho. He is a member of the Idaho State Bar and the American Bar Association. He returned to Southeast Idaho following graduation to serve his community.

Weston brings a wealth of experience and passion to his work in family and criminal law. After developing a love for reading and writing at a young age, Weston’s natural skills led him to pursue a career in the legal industry, where his meticulous attention to detail and dedication to fairness shine.

Weston finds great fulfillment in helping clients navigate some of the most difficult times in their lives, showing them, they matter. His community involvement extends beyond his legal practice as he volunteers his time coaching youth sports teams. He takes pride in his success, including reversing a trial court decision on appeal involving the termination of parental rights.

In his free time, Weston enjoys outdoor adventures with his wife, Jasmine, and their three children. A self-proclaimed sports fanatic, he follows football, motocross, MMA, and basketball.
