Ryan Patrick Henson

When it comes to the relationship between Ryan and his clients, he understands that the legal system cannot be navigated alone, and that his clients rely upon him to get them through it.  Ryan’s practice ranges from representing corporate clients in contract negotiations and disputes to family matters such as divorce & custody as well as criminal defense. Ryan applies a real-world, practical approach when it comes to problem-solving and litigation. He also spends a significant amount of time consulting with many different types of businesses to assist them with forming practices that maximize their focus and minimize their liability. 

PRACTICE

Ryan’s primary focus is helping his clients get back to what they do best, and avoiding distractions of disputes and litigation.  However, when litigation is a must, direct, to-the-point, professional representation is the standard for Ryan.   Ryan is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Idaho.  Ryan has received the highest rating from his peers as an “AV Preeminent” attorney.

EDUCATION

Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Idaho and his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Dakota.  He also studied abroad at the Universitet i Oslo, in Oslo, Norway.

PROFESSIONAL STANDING & AFFILIATIONS

Ryan is a member of the Idaho State Bar.  In 2013, Ryan was appointed by the Governor to serve as Commissioner to the Star Fire Protection District and continues to serve as Chairman of the Board.  He has been an adjunct faculty member for the College of Western Idaho, teaching in both the business and Criminal Justice Departments.  In 2013, Ryan has received awards from the Idaho State Bar and the Red Cross for stopping a teenage client who attempted to jump from the Courthouse, prior to a scheduled hearing.
