Highly recommend Ashley Marelius, Ruby and company. I had to change lawyers because the 1st one was noncommunicative. Ashley called me back the same day I called her. I knew she was going to be great. She walked with me through probably the hardest 18 months I've ever been through. Her knowledge, pat...ience and resources helped find our way through a labyrinth of having to submit subpoenas to find hidden assets, secure a qualified skilled forensic accountant, and through all that and more she stayed in touch with me to put me at ease, was very polite to opposing counsel, and kept everyone level headed. She knows her stuff.

I highly recommend Ashley for child custody and parenting time needs. She made the process feel incredibly smooth with her expertise and recommendations. During our consultation she was able to recommend an alcohol monitoring company “Sober Link” that was the perfect solution to my concerns regarding... the other coparent. I did not even know this resource existed and it was exactly what I needed. Originally, I anticipated having to take more drastic measures and instead they were completely alleviated with her recommendation. I was impressed with her availability and fast responses to all of my questions and concerns. I knew what to expect due to her ability to communicate the process effectively and I felt her fees were fair and transparent from the beginning. Her billing process and agreements were simple and convenient through an online platform to minimize in-person paperwork. She was encouraging and understanding which made this process much more manageable. Everyone knows how scary family law cases can be. Our children’s lives are literally on the line and I can’t think of any situation more important or terrifying. I cannot explain how empowering it was to finally take the necessary action knowing I had someone I could trust to help navigate the system. As expected, I received push back and threats from the other party and Ashley provided the support and reassurance through this difficult time. I can’t count how many times I thought “take my money”. She is well worth the cost and I am confident she will be able to help me navigate any custody needs I may have in the future.

I was nervous and overwhelmed about this whole process, but Ashley immediately put me at ease... and guided me through each step providing advice when needed. I can't say enough good things about her. She is someone who wants the best for her client and is available to answer questions when needed. Ashley was my attorney for my divorce. This was the first time in my life I had to use an attorney and she was absolutely great to work with. I intially only consulted with her while I was in mediation and her insights proved to be pretty vital. Later when mediation stalled out I used her to f...inish up the divorce. She did in 2 days what I couldn't get done in 2 years. She is not your stiff suit corporate style attorney. Her plan of attack was actually to get desired results without having to bill lots of hours. That is not her goal. She has the uncanny ability to see through their bullsh*t, address it, respond to it in a very simple professional and courteous manner, without ever calling them out directly. A talent I like to think comes from her experience from rescuing and rehabilitating dogs who wound up with bad owners. If you're going through divorce and feel like you're dealing with an emotionally toxic person or narcissist, she is somebody who understands that dynamic. Her follow up and response times are awesome. I would absolutely recommend her in a heartbeat.
