1.       What is your specialty or experience?

Most of my experience is in general trust planning for people to avoid probate.

2.       What is your vision or mission statement?

My mission is just like the overall mission of Inter Vivos: to provide the best estate planning services to all people for a price they all can afford. I want my clients to be provided all the options and I will always allow them to choose the best fit for their needs. I want my clients to be prepared for the future and know that their family is taken care of when things inevitably happen.

3.       What is your passion or personal strengths?

I am passionate about helping people with Estate Planning. Everyone needs it, but most don’t realize it. I hope to educate people on its importance. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to explain complicated things in a simple way that people can understand.

4.       What do you want your client to know about you?

I want my clients to know that I am here for them. I will take care of their needs and I will always make sure that they feel good about the service I am providing.

5.       Where is your office location or region that you serve?

Southwest Idaho (Treasure Valley area). 

Personal Bio

1.       Where were you born and raised?

I was born in Seattle area. Lived there until I was 14, when we moved to Phoenix area. My family still lives in Phoenix.

2.       Where to you attend law school and when did you graduate?

I went to BYU Law School. Graduated in December 2015.

3.        Did you receive any honors or special recognitions?

Not from Law School. I graduated early. I did graduate with Honors from BYU undergrad and have a Masters degree in Education as well.

4.       Are you married? Do you have children? How many?

Yes I have been married to Ashley Heid for 19 years.  We have 4 children.

5.       What are your hobbies and interests?

I love sports, especially baseball. I pitched for BYU’s baseball team from 1999-2005. I was a high school Social Studies teacher and baseball coach for 8 years before making a career change and becoming an attorney. I love spending time with my family, reading, camping, being outdoors, and watching and playing sports.

6.       Do you have any military or community service experiences?

Mostly church service. I served an LDS mission to Hiroshima, Japan. I have been involved in local politics, scouts, athletics, and other organizations.
