Mr. Meek’s practice includes both litigation and transactional work, and has to date included estate planning, real estate, small business formation, commercial litigation, divorce, child custody and support, adoption, guardianships, criminal law and general litigation. He also serves as city prosecutor for smaller town surrounding Idaho Falls.

During law school, he served as a member of the Honor Court Judiciary, President of the Multicultural Law Caucus, and an associate member of the Idaho Law Review. In his final year of law school, he was elected by his peers to serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. In 2006, he graduated from law school and was admitted to practice law in Idaho’s state courts and in the United States District Court of Idaho. He is a member of the Idaho State Bar, American Bar Association, and the Eagle Rock Chapter of the American Inns of Court.

Mr. Meek is an active member of the community.  He has served in the Eagle Rock Inn of the American Inns of Court, President of the Idaho Falls Civitan Club, Chartered Organizational Representative of a local Boy Scout organization, volunteer attorney for the Court Appointed Special Advocates Program, and was recently elected as a Board Member of the Idaho Falls Auditorium District.

I had the pleasure of having Kris as my divorce and child custody lawyer he did amazing, I would highly recommend him as a lawyer he always kept me updated returned my calls promptly, if I ever had a question about anything he was always there to answer it for me and in ways that I could understand, it made my situation a lot less stressful. He took care of everything for me he always had everything in order and organized and made sure I had copies of everything I never felt in the dark on what was going on in my case I was always updated and explained everything. He made it a wonderful experience in a bad situation. He is a highly recommend lawyer and I would not go to anybody else in town.

Kris Meek is an outstanding lawyer. He represented me in a child custody case. I appreciated how Kris spent time listening to my individual concerns. He was respectful and insightful to a lot of sensitive issues that I faced during my case. He was honest and straight forward with his advice and approached issues from different angles to ensure that he was doing the best thing for my family. Kris paid close attention to detail and didn't miss any steps in the long process. Kris returned phone calls and emails promptly. I highly recommend Kris because he is a person of high integrity and he works hard for his clients. Kris was also willing to work with my financial situation and offer a payment plan.

Kris represented me in a very complex divorce case, in hindsight, there is nothing he could have done better. He was efficient and communicated well. He gave me great advise about what to do (and not to do) through the process. At times I was upset and I'm sure difficult to work with, but he remained calm and professional, and helped me stay logical and reasonable. When presented with falsified information we were not expecting in trial, he impressed me by quickly and thoroughly presenting previously filed information that exposed the false testimony. He contracted the right professionals to help with our business valuation. I was impressed with how organized and complete the information he prepared and presented was. In court, he was not only a great speaker, but had exhibits to back up everything we presented. He thinks quickly, is very intelligent and articulate, and seemed to have good rapport with the judges and other legal professionals. His billing statements were complete and detailed, and was willing to work with me to pay his bill late in the process as the judge ordered that my ex and I could not spend money beyond living necessities through the process. He is part of a great firm and great team, and came highly recommended. Thanks again Kris!

There is no thank you big enough for what you have done for me and my daughter. This whole experience has been stress free for me ( Im sure that hasn't been your situation) but it let me focus on my family which was important to me. You listened to everything I had to say and what my daughter had to say. Thank you for being honest and having ethical standards. The legal support and counsel I received from Kristopher Meek was phenomenal in regards to securing child support from my ex-partner that met Idaho guidelines, providing legal arguments, and providing defense from nefarious claims by my ex-partner. Mr. Meek has in-depth knowledge of Idaho law; he successfully challenged claims made by the defense; and was very adept at demonstrating untruthfulness and outright lies by my ex- partner and his witnesses. In summary, Mr. Meek presented a very compelling argument concerning my custody rights and child support that was due to me under Idaho Law. His capabilities were clearly demonstrated by the Court decision in my favor. I highly recommend Kris and would not trust anyone else to do the job!
