Christopher G. Humphrey, J.D., Esq.
Attorney at Law
Christopher G. Humphrey is a licensed attorney in the states of Wyoming and Colorado, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming. A Cheyenne native, he is deeply rooted in the community he serves.
Mr. Humphrey earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law, where he participated in the Defender Aid Clinic, externed with the Federal Defender’s Office, and volunteered with the Office of the State Public Defender. These early experiences laid the foundation for his commitment to criminal defense and advocacy.
Since 2014, Mr. Humphrey has also been admitted to practice before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), and he actively represents clients in immigration matters. His experience in immigration law complements his criminal defense work, particularly in cases where the two areas intersect.
With several years of courtroom experience across Wyoming, Mr. Humphrey has represented clients in a wide range of criminal matters—from Driving Under the Influence (DUI) to DUI Homicide. His practice spans municipal, circuit, and district courts, as well as appellate work before the Wyoming Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
Mr. Humphrey has taught several Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses related to criminal defense and immigration law. He remains committed to staying at the forefront of legal developments and contributing to the broader legal community.
He currently serves as a Hearing Officer for the Wyoming Medical Commission and as a Magistrate for the Laramie County Circuit Court. Mr. Humphrey is known for his local insight, courtroom experience, and unwavering commitment to protecting his clients’ rights.
