I represented the homeowner against a contractor who installed a garage door on the house of my client without their permission. Client refused payment, and the contractor sued.
OUTCOME: Dismissed
Def was charged with Sexual Abuse of a minor. Co-Counsel James Wolfe and myself were able get the case dismissed the day of trial.
OUTCOME: Affirmed
Two defendants were tried together, one defendant had little to know evidence against her. Motion to sever trial was denied at trial, Defendant was convicted. Defendant appealed.
OUTCOME: Acquitted of homicide, convicted of lesser included DUI injury
DUI accident resulted in serious injury to victim. Victim eventually died nine months later. The defendant was then charged with homicde and the maximum penalty went from ten years to twenty years. W ... e were able to prove that the death was not due to the original DUI accident.
OUTCOME: reversed and remanded
