David Tyler Adams Albrechta

Dave is a managing member of Albrechta & Albrechta, LLC.  He works primarily in the areas of general civil litigation, employment law, business planning, collections, and family law.  He likes the fast pace and diverse work within these departments and enjoys working directly with clients to help them achieve their legal objectives. Dave earned his Juris Doctor with a certificate of concentration in labor and employment law from the University of Toledo College of Law in August 2014 and is a licensed Colorado attorney.  Dave is also working quarter-time as a law clerk for the judges of Colorado's 7th Judicial District.

Before moving back to Ohio, Dave was the Office Coordinator and a Policy Analyst for Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. and Policy Analyst for the Colorado Senate majority. Dave earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Wooster in 2008. He spent a semester abroad studying Philosophy at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland in 2006 and had the opportunity to study international criminal law, labor law, and business in emerging markets in Prague, Czech Republic and Vienna, Austria in 2013.

Dave is a proud citizen of Durango, Colorado. Dave continues to serve as Secretary of the Christy Farm Nature Preserve, an organization he has been intimately involved with since 1999. He is passionate about the outdoors and nature conservation - particularly in areas of the country with a high risk for development.  Dave enjoys hiking, camping, showshoeing, canoeing, fishing, and backpacking. He has hiked and rafted in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska and trekked the Indian Himalayas. He was a high school swimmer and went on to play four years of college tennis.
